Day 1 Arrival Leipzig or Dresden

Depending on your choice of hotel, we have pre-booked a comfortable **** Hotel in Dresden or Leipzig.

Arrival in the Christmas city of Leipzig. The dynamic Saxon metropolis can proudly look back on a long tradition as a city of trade and art. A sightseeing tour is, besides beautiful insights, a great thing, especially because of the extremely audible local dialect. If the schedule allows it, an Advent singing with the famous Leipzig Thomanerchor can be reserved (on request).

In Leipzig we also invite you to have dinner at the Auerbachskeller - a city institution with centuries of tradition.

Afterwards, continue your journey and check-in at the hotel, overnight stay.

Day 2 Christmas Dresden and its beautiful surroundings

For the morning we recommend a trip along the Elbe River into the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. The rock castle Neurathen is a worthwhile destination - built high on the Bastei rock, you have an impressive view of the Elbe valley and the Elbe Sandstone Mountains from here. (fee required - payment on site)

Around noon you will travel to the beautiful city of Dresden. Look forward to an exciting city tour and then a visit to the famous Dresden Striezelmarkt.

Of course, a cup of coffee and a piece of Dresden Stollen should not be missed (included).

In the late afternoon return to the hotel - dinner (extra charge) and overnight stay.

Day 3 Departure

Full of new impressions of the Christmas Saxony you start your journey home.

Excursion to Meissen and Moritzburg

After a hearty breakfast, the bus will first take you to Meissen, where an exciting guided tour of the city awaits you. Meissen is probably the oldest of the Saxon cities. It was from here that the region was colonized for the German kings in the budding High Middle Ages. Later, the place became known especially for its porcelain production. Discover the secrets of this mysterious material during an exciting guided tour of an original Meissen porcelain manufactory.

Afterwards, continue to Moritzburg and take a guided tour of the magnificent residential palace of Augst the Strong - the legendary Elector and King of Poland.

From the castle return to the hotel, dinner and overnight (extra charge).
