Package 1: Bavarian Beer and Gastronomy      

Day 1/ Munich

Upon arrival in Munich, optional private transfer to your hotel.

Day 2/ Munich-Nuremberg 

Enjoy a private tour through the Viktualienmarkt, which is part of Munich just like the Isar River. Together with your tour guide you will taste some of the many local delicacies. Afterwards, travel to Nuremberg by train. In the late afternoon you will join a guided tour of the interesting underground cellars of the city, where you can learn about the history and the elaboration process of beer since the 19th century. Of course, you will also get the chance to try some.

Day 3/ Nuremberg - Bamberg - Kulmbach - Nuremberg

In the morning take the train to Kulmbach and visit the beer museum. Then continue to visit Bamberg, which is famous for its beer and old town (UNESCO). Free time to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the city in a beer garden “Biergarten“ with a delicious local beer. In the afternoon travel back to Nuremberg.

Day 4/ Nuremberg - Munich 

After breakfast return to Munich by train.

Package 2: Nuremberg City of History    

Day 1/ Nuremberg

Upon arrival optional private transfer to your hotel. Afternoon free at your leisure.

Day 2/ Nuremberg 

Guided visit of the old town to see the important history of the city with its well preserved castle, Gothic churches and squares that create an unforgettable atmosphere. This will give you a first overview of the city, before you then start exploring on your own. With your Nürnberg Card +Fürth you have access to all of the excellent and interesting museums in the city as well as the region’s public transport.

Day 3/ Nuremberg

Continue exploring this fascinating city. For example, you could go on a historic tour and visit the Documentation Center Nazi Party Rally Grounds with its gigantic buildings, which are a reminder of the megalomania of the National Socialist regime. The Memorium of the Nuremberg Trials is also well worth a visit. Or if you want something other than history, the city offers a wide range of sites and museums from art, trains all the way to toys.

Day 4/ Nuremberg

Optional private transfer to the airport.
