Neuschwanstein Castle

Hohenschwangau Castle
It belongs to the world-famous royal castles of Ludwig II, King of Bavaria. Hohenschwangau Castle was the summer residence of the royal family and is located directly opposite to Neuschwanstein Castle. An absolute must for every visitor to the Allgäu!
Linderhof Palace
Small but magnificent building, also one of King Ludwig II’s castles. It was built in several stages from 1870 to 1886 and is the smallest one of the three castles – it is also the only one that was completed during his lifetime. It is absolutely worth seeing – Not only because of its fabulous interior, but also because of the Moroccan House and the unique gardens.
Ettal Monastery
Impressive Gothic building with Baroque redesigning elements from the year 1710. The monastery still brews its own beer according to a 400-year-old tradition. The Ettal monastery liqueur is also produced here.
